  • This website provides the latest information on:

3.  Autism Speaks

  • Autism Speaks is the “nation’s largest autism science and advocacy organization”.  This organization primarily raises funds  for research and focus on autism awareness.  Autism Speaks is dedicated to finding the “missing pieces of the puzzle” of autism.  This website includes information on the latest research, useful information about autism, opportunities to donate, organize charity events, and become members of local chapters. 

4. Autism Channel

  • This is a chat room for parents, friends, teachers, family of individuals who have autism and individuals who are on the autism spectrum.

5. Asperger’s Disorder Homepage Blogger

  • Blog about Aspergers syndrome discussing current events, treatments, and issues facing the population of those who are on the Asperger’s end of the Autism Spectrum

6.   Aspgerger’s Syndrome

  • This website is the combination of Online Autism Spectrum Information and Support and MAAP Services for Autism and Asperger Syndrome.  It is a combination of these two organizations for a great inclusive website. There are many different resources including newsetters, a bookstore with books regarding autism and asperger’s, forum transcripts and current information regarding Asperger’s Syndrome. 

7. ASPEN : Asperger’s syndrome Education Network

  • ASPEN is an organization which provides information regarding Asperger’s Syndrome. This organization is based out of New Jersey.  This website provides articles and information regarding Asperger’s syndrome, information about local chapters, news, and other resources.  ASPEN hosts conferences where they have Doctors and professors from around the world come and speak.

8.  Autism Research Institute

  • This website includes many tools for professionals who study autism as well as helps for individuals who have autism and help for their family.  Some of the tools available at this website include help for new parents, recovering from Autism, assessments of medications and diagnosis, support, opportunity to donate and more.  ARI also brings together many accredited researchers for conferences and who write in their newsletters.  ARI brings together many of the hot topic issues facing Autism and supports research and advancements in the Autism field. 

9.  Autisable Blog

  • Autisable is a community with bloggers who provide personal testimonials about Autism and how they tackle the day-to-day persistence and dealing with Autism.  This is an open forum, there is no charge to join and voice your experiences.  Autisable also provides opportunities to donate to the cause

10.  Association for Science and Autism Treatment 

  • ASAT is an organization that provides useful information regarding the current treatments and interventions for Autism.  This website is unique in that it provides media and examples of ways to use the interventions and treatments available for those with Autism.  Great resource to start with when looking for treatments.

11.   Your Little Professor

  • This website you can find lots of information about aspergers syndrome.  There are also opportunities to find summer camps for children with aspergers.
